How SovereignStream balances free speech with safety for users 13+.
What we verify
- Age & identity — birthdate and government ID so we can protect teens and reduce impersonation.
- Illegal content — never allowed (including CSAM, real-world crime facilitation, scams).
What we do not silence
- Political speech and unpopular opinions alone are not violations.
- Adult entertainment (videos, pictures, labeled posts, adult profiles, adult live) is allowed for 18+ when labeled and on Full feed; users under 18 (13–17) and guests are locked to Safe feed and never receive it, including DMs and follows of adult profiles.
- Anything involving minors sexually is banned and escalated.
- AI may triage reports and suggest labels; humans ban accounts and approve IDs.
Appeals
If you believe a moderation action was wrong, open the app → Settings → Request a review (or Contact Support). Appeals are reviewed by admins.
Platform fees & products
Creator tips, Super Replies, Circles, subscriptions, and store sales use a transparent platform fee. Standard rate: 30% platform fee (you keep 70%). With a purchased fee promo / Pro rate: 20% platform fee (you keep 80%). Platform fee % + your keep % always equals 100%. Fees and percentages are subject to change at SovereignStream’s discretion based on business needs, market trends, or other factors. Platform-owned products include boosts, featured profiles, paid badges, Premium Live, Pro annual plans, brand sponsorship packages, Partner API access, and optional support tips.
